The Cameraville is back up and running on YouTube and that is an awesome thing for the world of Pentax, and for Pentaxians who like to get their YouTube fix.
There are so many fantastic lenses for Pentax cameras, it can honestly be hard to choose which one to go after next. With everything from vintage lenses, to modern day optics, Pentaxians are really spoiled for choice when it comes to glass. Unfortunately there are not many resources out there for Pentax lovers to sink their teeth into when it comes to reviews, but this is where The CameraVille comes in to play.
Buying a new lens is always exciting, especially when the lens is as special as this one.
That new lens smell! It's hard to beat for sure. As mentioned above, there truly is nothing quite as exciting as getting your hands on a new piece of glass. I have been fortunate enough to be able to get my hands on one of the very best Pentax lenses on the market, and during my short time with it, I can already tell that the investment will be well worth it.
This super fun portrait shoot was one for the books.
One of the main reasons I chose the Pentax K1 II as my next camera is because it is just about the perfect camera for not only landscapes, but portrait shoots too. I had the opportunity, and the honor to be asked to capture the happy moments of a soon to be graduate from the Oklahoma State University. I packed up my gear, and hit I-35 to Stillwater, OK so that we could capture the joy and excitement of this huge occasion.
The Pentax K1 II and I had the perfect first date!
It has been a little while since my introductory piece here on The Pentax Pioneer, but things have been busy, shutters have been shutting, and flashes have been flashing since then, and that is always a good thing. Not a day after receiving the camera, and my Pentax FA 77mm f1.8 Limited, the camera, myself, and my good buddy John Bradford decided to hit the town with our cameras and gear so that we could both put our Pentax's through their paces.
The Pentax Pioneer is the website for you if you love all things photography!
This blog is all about what this crazy, 38 year old Brit photographer who lives in Oklahoma gets up to with his Pentax camera and gear. Don't be shy; join us after the break for more info, and to learn a little bit more about me, and my plans for this website.
